Job Requirements:
Experience with MicroStrategy Version 9.0 or above including Desktop & Web
Experience in Reports, Documents, Dashboard and Mobile Applications development
Hands- on Architect, Object Manager, Command Manager, Enterprise Manager, Integrity Manager
Experience with query optimization strategies for building reports
Understands system usage and potential bottlenecks
Strong knowledge of logical and physical data modeling concepts
Good knowledge of dimensional modeling and DWH concepts like Change Data Capture (CDC)
SQL Programming: Knowledge in basic and advanced concepts like PL/ SQL, analytical functions etc.
Excellent verbal and written communication skills
Responsibilities:
Analysis and interpretation of business requirements and translation into functional and technical requirement specifications
MicroStrategy schema definition, design, implementation and maintenance
Assistance with project planning, estimating and approach definition
Support, design, build and test MicroStrategy objects, projects, reports, dashboards, cubes
Work closely with DBA s on data model or database changes required
Performance tuning, testing and troubleshooting
Understanding of / Exposure to Data Management / Data Warehousing, a plus
Exposure to other BI tools (MS SQL SSRS, Cognos, Tableau), a plus
Database skills with Netezza, Green Plum or Teradata, is a plus,
