Job Description
This position would be part of the development team and would be responsible for the coding , development and unit testing of high end web based Process Automation , Business Intelligence & Decision Support Systems primarily on the DotNet Environment based on functional designs provided by the Solutions Architect team.
The incumbent is expected to possess excellent analytical / technical skills coupled with good problem solving capabilities. Minimum Qualifications include: BE / B.Tech / BCA / MCA / and 1 - 5 years experience in software development and methodology , or equivalent combination of education and experience.
Desired Skill - Set Incumbent must have prior web based application development experience in similar business applications using ASP.Net. Programming languages: VB.Net / C# , JavaScript , HTML Databases: Microsoft SQL Server / Oracle / DB2 DotNet Technologies: ASP.Net Exposure to web services / XML is desirable Experience with DotNet framework Job Responsibilities include (but are not limited to) Effective and efficient development of software code in line with functional specifications provided.
Translate functional requirements into page structure / flow. This is be in direct proportion to the seniority / experience of the developer.
Assume leadership position in development team. Understands and implements OOA and OOD principals.
Continually stays abreast of technology. Identifies , evaluates and recommends all required technology and / or third - party component.
Follows procedural and system enhancements designed to streamline and improve the overall efficiency of processes.
Participates in technical reviews including code reviews and design analysis , and software requirements feasibility.,
