applications and evolving the underlying selling platform. MSO is a team within
Merchant Technologies Org which focuses on Operational Excellence. To scale
proportionately as per the growth of the business, MSO is embarking on a new
charter to develop systems & services for managing operations by
programming the business critical decisions.
MSO is looking for software engineers with superior technical knowledge and
hands-on experience in current software development (Web Services and User
Interfaces) technologies. Successful members of MSO will collaborate with
cross-functional software development teams, product development organization
in building extremely simple and user friendly software applications and
services. MSO needs individuals with excellent communication skills & Ownership
skills, self-motivated, hardworking, and who like to have fun.
As a member of this team, your mission will be to design, develop, document and
support massively scalable, distributed real time systems. Using object
oriented design patterns and innovative methodologies, you will build and
deliver software systems that support complex and rapidly evolving business
requirements.
Basic Qualifications:

B.E/B.Tech/M.E/M.Tech/MS
degree in Computer Science and 0-2 years of industry experience developing
distributed software systems and Web services (SOA)
·
Solid experience in C++
or Java (expert in at least one)
·
Solid experience in Perl, Ruby, or Python
(expert in at least one)
·
Solid proficiency in
Linux or UNIX and experience developing in UNIX/LINUX environment.
·
Solid proficiency in
Object Oriented Concepts & Design, Data Structures & Algorithms, and
design patterns
·
Obsessed about customer
experience
·
Knowledge in SQL, XML
and web technologies such as AJAX, JavaScript, CSS, HTML5 etc.
·
Must be excellent
problem solvers.
Preferred Qualifications:
·
Distributed System technologies - Service Oriented
Architecture, Data formats like JSON, Caching etc.
·
Experience building complex software systems that have been
successfully delivered to customers
·
Strong sense of ownership, drive and ability to deliver
results
·
Knowledge of professional software engineering practices
& best practices for the full software development life cycle, including
coding standards, code reviews, source control management, build processes, testing,
and operations.
·
Experience in agile development practices.
