* The candidate will be part of graphics front end DFX team under Visual and Parallel Computing Group (VPG) responsible for delivery of testability features for Graphics cores for Intel’s CPUs / SOCs for notebook and tablet platforms.
* In this position, the candidate will work on front-end RTL design and validation activities related to 3D and / or media features like Microsoft* DirectX, OCL, OGL, GPGPU, Image Enhancement etc for Intel’s next generation graphics cores.
Responsibilities:
* development of micro-architecture, RTL coding and validation of DFX units
* development of test plans, test writing and execution
* work with structural design teams to ensure timing closure for the owned units
* work with validation and integration teams for debugs / fixes pre and post Silicon
Qualification:
* Strong logic design skills and experience in System Verilog / Verilog / VHDL*
* Strong analytical ability, problem solving and communication skills
* Good understanding of ASIC design flow, validation concepts like ATG, test plan writing, functional coverage etc
* Exposure to graphics and / or media architecture in previous employment would be an added advantage
* Basic programming in C* and/or C++* or Perl* or TCL*
* Coursework in relevant areas of programming, computer graphics, digital design and computer architecture are desirable
