Anna University, Chennai is organizing “Tamil Nadu State Level Placement Programme” (TNSLPP) 2013-14, for the Present Final Year (2014 Passing Out Students) studying in Self Financing Engineering Colleges of Tamil Nadu, under Chennai Zone.

M/s Cognizant Technology Solutions, has kindly agreed to participate in this Placement programme on 30th & 31st December 2013 for Chennai Zone. Centre for University Industry Collaboration (CUIC), Anna University, Chennai is conducting this programme at Sri Muthukumaran Institute of Technology, Chikkarayapuram, Kunrathur, Near Mangadu - 600 069.

Job Role & Description:

The students who get shortlisted will be offered the role of Programmer Analyst Trainee with a salary of 3 lakh / annum. They will be trained at Cognizant Academy for a period of 4 months post which they will join the project teams.

Eligibility Criteria:

·         2014 passing out candidates only

·         B.E/B. Tech (CSE, ECE, EEE, EIE, ICE & IT) & PG (MCA)

·         Minimum 70.00% from 10th onwards

·         CGPA between 7.00 and 8.00

·         No standing arrears allowed at the time of recruitment process

·         Strong Written and Oral Communication Skills

·         Flexibility to work in Shifts and in any Cognizant Location

·         Open only to Indian Nationals

·         The students who had already particpated in the previous CTS placement drive are strictly not eligible to participate now

Selection Process:

·         Group Discussion for ALL the Candidates

·         Online Aptitude Test for Shortlisted Candidates

·         Technical & HR Interview for Shortlisted Candidates

Compensation Package: Rs. 3.0 Lakhs per annum
