Job description
Junior Tester - Manual Testing
- Knowledge of setting up test environments,
executing simulated environment tests (installing applications, preparing test
data etc).
Experience: 1 to 2 years
Location: Pune
- Good analytical skills
- Good grasping ability, willingness to learn
- Team player
- Good
problem solving skills
- Should be able to work independently
- Experience with functional, integration and
regression testing methods.
- Should be able to prepare comprehensive test
scenarios and test cases covering all aspects of the specifications
- Should be able to come up with test data
requirements to achieve the desired test coverage
- Should have fundamental knowledge of client-server
architecture
- An ability to communicate effectively with
technical and non technical colleagues
- Good understanding of software production
lifecycle process including software testing and customer acceptance testing
- Ensure test status results are properly documented
and tracked and software defects are reported clearly
- Build and maintain a repository of test case
definitions and acceptance test procedures
- Take ownership of, and complete assignments on a
timely basis.
- Positive, ”Can do” attitude and willingness to
accept changes
